3 ft. Waves in Canggu this Morning

Hello KIMA surfers,

This morning around 8.00 o’clock and in low tide, the wave size in Canggu only reached up to 3 ft.. Therefore, no surfers were out at either Echo Beach or Pererenan, and only 5 people surfed the rather inconsistent waves at Sandbar. Waiting periods in between sets were 1 minute and wave quality 2 stars out of 5.

Now that we are getting close to the weekend, we don’t mind a sleep-in before heading out, getting wet, and catching some more consistent waves as soon as the tide’s up. :)

We hope you’re spending a fun day,

your KIMA team

Moderate Winds Turn Big Swells Inconsistent at Canggu this Morning

Good morning KIMA surfers,

The good news: big swells keep hitting Bali’s coasts. However, due to moderate winds on the Western side of the island, both sets and wave quality are turned more inconsistent compared to last week.

In Canggu, this morning, approximately 6 ft. waves in moderate cross shore winds didn’t attract too many surfers: 3 people out at Sandbar and none at either Echo Beach or Pererenan. For those out, sets kept coming at only 1 minute intervals and in about 2 star (out of 5) wave quality.

It seems that these conditions would provide higher wave quality at the Eastern side of the island. Sure worth checking it out!

Stay stoked,
